Evolving weapons to higher Tiers

    I am new player and I want to know something regarding evolving weapons from Tier 1 to Tier 2 and etc.
    I have 4 uncommon Sniper Cannons.
    1 lvl 10,2 lvl 8 and 1 lvl 2.
    Does using a lvl 8 Uncommon Sniper Cannon provives betters stats than using a lvl 2Uncommon Sniper Cannon when evolving my lvl 10 Uncommon Sniper Cannon to Tier 2? Or the results will be the same regarding what lvl?
    I hope someone can answer my question because I'm already eager to evolve my weapons..
