Evolving question

    So I have a level 2 rare torp maxed, and a level 1 rare to use to get to level 3 once I train some more. My question is if I keep leveling up the level one will it make it more powerful when I evolve or am I just wasting resources? Sorry if this has been asked before.

    You will just be wasting resources.If you get a duplicate just let it be and evolve your main weapon using it once you train the required talents.
