End of season rewards

    I often here people saying they aren't playing anymore matches towards the end of the season because they're scared of losing their league ranking/rewards.
    Obviously people not playing is a problem so it would be nice if there were some way of protecting players against getting their end of season rewards ruined by a nasty loosing streak at the end of the season (which can happen to anyone).

    One idea would be to give rewards (items/parts/gold) based on the highest Infamy a player reached in a season, but keep the league promotion system the same, with only the league promotion and captain badge points being determined by end of season infamy. This would just add a little insurance against bad luck and insensitivise players to play all the way to the end of the season.

    What do other people think?
