End of event and utilizing battle coins

The missile event just ended and I just happened to log into the app 2 hours or so after the event ended. I am unable to claim whatever coins earned from the missile event.

Didn't there used to be time buffer where you can utilize the coins? Certainly more than 2 hours?

 

I Know the pain. Before the 24x7 event started happening we used to get a 48 hrs window to spend our coins. I lost 600+ coins when that thing started without any warning. Today I lost 200 coins again since I don't spend them right after earning

 

I think i lost 280+ coins because Rovio removed the buffer time to claim past event coins. It was Christmas eve night where I am at, so I had priorities to attend to so I was rather 2 hours late in collecting the earned coins from the previous event. Thanks for the lump of coal

 

Tbh there was a big warning in-game. I also don't like the way they turned this but you can't say they didn't warn you first.

 

"You will still have 48h to spend the coins after the event has ended"
And this statement is no more true. That was my point.

 

Unacceptable.

I guess they just wanted to piss enough peeps off so that nobody would play during the Holidays.

I am beyond words. The ones in my head now would get me banned!

I guess we did get that legendary lump of coal that AmericanMarauder told us about.

Im honestly too angry to play.
