Does anyone use gear lube?

    Imo gear lube is a pretty worthless item, and outclassed by rudder and especially turbo. Very rarely do I blame my turret not turning fast enough to be the cause of my death. Especially with the new lock scrolling mechanic that allows you to lock onto a ship, there's really no use for gear lube.

    I plan to use it on my defender when I get another slot. Agree that turbo/rudder > gear lube, but turret rotation is still very important in close quarters combat.

    Only on date night. ;)
    All jokes aside, it's good for ships that aim with their turrets (e.g. enforcer or shooter), that also use Big Torpedoes.
