Defender Mk5

Hello, I finally upgraded my Defender to Mk5 and unlocked the third red slot.

With 2 slots I always used Cannon and Sniper Cannon, but now I have to decide which weapon to add and since I can't afford to level up all my weapons to try them, I came here to ask for a suggestion.

The choices are:
Missile Launcher
Rail Gun
Big Torpedo
Triple Torpedo
Blast Cannon
Flare Gun

All those are epics I got a duplicate of, so I could level up.

What third red slot item should I use?
Do you suggest changes also on Cannon/Sniper Cannon?
And, since I love Missile Launcher, what perks to add on it?

for me missile for crowd cobtrol and area damage u already have point weapons can u take a pic of ur ship n load out

 

yeah you need some area damage, I'd go with missiles or big torpedo

 

Sniper + cannon + triple torp or missle launcher.
I don't use defender but i feel that would be pretty effective.
