Defence points

    What does defence points on shield do??
    Would you choose defence points over more health?

    Defence points "deny" damage. A projectile doing 50 damage, when it hits a ship with 40 defence, causes the ship to take only 10 damage. Up to you really. I would recommend HP over defence though.

    I never paid attention to defence, as a matter of fact, being a speeder, but you could be right:)

    lol a mk4 speeder has around 5 defence which does not help unless u are versing a carronade

    There are perks that increase defence points of the ship training can do the same and if you have a high defence point like 50 or around on a defender it really helps as
    1. Carronades cant deal good enough dmg
    2. Since you have high health ( as a defender ) you can take around 15 - 20 shots which means it reduces 50 dmg every hit that is 50 × 20 = 1000 HP it act as a big shield without slot points and makes u stay longer on the battle field so u should certainly increase it if u are a defender or shooter else never mind .
