Defence on shooter mk upgrades?

    I don't get why shooter and not enforcer gets defence on ship upgrades. I may have a different mindset, but I feel like shooters are supposed to be the heavy damage dealers, and to me, that means should have one of the weakest hp/defence. I don't know, it kind of just bothers me. :|

    Shooters are one trick ponies though. Enforcers (and speeders to a large degree) get a lot of utility slots. My observation of higher level players, is that the cooldowns on weapons is far less significant up there, since the cooldowns seem shorter. If anything, the shooter just gets to diversify their weapon loadout to be good on more types of maps. In contrast, the enforcer uses a series of stuns, shields, and speed boosts to avoid damage and incapacitate opponents. Take a gander at Porthos' video on youtube about them. They honestly look really op in 1v1s, just because a good one can stunlock you for ages, and whittle anyone down.
