Cost of expanding inventory needs explanation

My current inventory is 45, but alot of my guild members have around 100-150 inventory, when I asked them how much it cost to upgrade their inventory space they all replied that it cost over 100,000 pearls. Moreover, when Rovio gives us these deals such as the Valentine's offer, we have an inventory overflow, but in order to not have to Scrap most of the stuff we need to expand inventory, if you want to expand from 150 inv to 325 inventory, that will cost you over 250,000 pearls.
Can the dev team explain here? The more inventory space u add the more every 5 spaces cost.

 

The fundamental basis of a freemium game is that you can play it without paying... but you do so in an annoying way and at least partially gimped. Inventory space (or the lack thereof) seems to be a favorite of game designers. I just bought another 5 slots so now I'm up to 65 I think. Inventory space is the only thing I spend pearls on.

 

But the numbers we are talking here is outright absurd. I rather have every 5 slots cost a consistent 500 pearls forever than for them to accumulatively get more expensive to the point that 5 slots costs 5000 pearls.

 

I figure it's much like their dollar purchases... insanely expensive to my eye. Clearly they are marketing to a much wealthier crowd than myself. Who am I to argue with their marketing and revenue choices? I can just decide if I like the game or not.

I currently need 330 epic power cells to evolve the epics in my inventory, and I have 70.
That 330 number is growing far quicker than the 70.

Since my inventory of 50 (and ships) are full I have no space to amass, evolve and scrap rares for cells.

As a f2p peasant I don't have the crazy pearls to spend on inventory slots.

Why do I have to have 12 incomplete items taking up valuable space?

The inventory price is to expensive.

The 10x deal (times 8) was somehow a scam as you need to have about more than 100 free slot to stored all your items from the 80 box you received.

Your inventory will overflow that you end up scarpping it.

That's what I feel when I bought it the last time.

That will be my last big purchase as once your inventory is full you need to scrap something.

 

you mentioned about buying that offer in another thread and I WARNED you to make sure you had "LOTS" of inv. space... I bought myself an offer for Christmas since I was such a good boy last year, not realizing they would make me take every single chest at once. It's like a trap they got you spending 1 time but then you maybe need to spend again or else you basically bought a ton of parts.

When you buy it right after the purchase goes through close the app and all the crates get send to your inventory. So 8 containers take 8 inv slots. I still opened them up all at once cuz I get more lucky that way #rebel

it is funny how some of the P2W features can cause side effects. VIP speeds up training but causes extra sugar strain... buying crate deals gives you lots of items but you need lots of inventory.

I expanded my inventory quite a bit, but it was taking 1250 pearls per 5 slot expansion and just going up from there, so when I finally got sufficient size I was glad ti finally stop buying and use pearls for something else. I'm pretty full and lacking the ability to evolve much, so inventory is in perpetual strain.

 

Bit of a joke when the oppressive inventory limit ends up preventing people from spending money.

I also saw the 8x crate deal, and my first thought was “that looks like a nice deal... shame I’ve only got 3 inventory slots”

 

The trick with inventory is just made to slower the players progress.
If I didn't have to scrap a lot of my items, it would be easier to play comfortable after any game balance change.

I spent all of my pearls on expending the inventory, so far I have 85 slots, the next upgrade cost me 1850 pearls.

It would be really nice to have inventory system reworked.
