Controls Freeze!

During a match my touch screen freezes and I can’t move, aim, or select weapons. I have to lock my phone then unlock it for it unfreeze? Any help would be appreciated!

I did try uninstalling the app and reinstalling and it’s stil doing it. Thanks.

 

Are you sure it isn't a network issue? If not, then what OS and Device do you use?

 

I have an iPhone X. The game doesn’t freeze just my controls and the ability to do anything. Until I lock my phone then unlock it.

 

I have had a similar issue before. Sometimes after pressing 3 chat buttons as the game is starting, the countdown would be stuck on 1 and I couldn't move. So now I don't press chat until the countdown reaches 1.

 

If you have an IOS device, you might have the 2 finger triple touch zoom on. That’s a huge problem. Go town our settings under restrictions or something and turn it off. Really messes you up. Either that, or turn off lock screen.

 

I’ll check it out but I had no issues with the game for the past 2 years. This all started May 1st. I reported to the devs. Let’s see what they say.

 

Do you have bad WiFi in your neighborhood? It could also be you have a bad character.

 

Ok I turned off 3D Touch. I did some testing and it does have something to do with both my thumbs on the screen and if I press to firmly it will freeze the controls.

Like i said I did turn of 3D Touch and it still freezes. Is there another setting I need to turn off?

It’s not a connection issue it’s just my controls. I figured out during a match if I press with both thumbs firmly at the same time it will lock the controls and I have to lock my phone and unlock it again to unfreeze it.

That’s correct. I have everything turned off. It weird I’ve been playing this game for 2-3 years with no issues with the amount of pressure I use to play until recently.

 

Do you have the thing where Siri would read things on the screen for you turned on? If not then who knows, maybe battle bay doesn’t support iPhone X features at the moment and they need to update it to.

 

Yeah it hasn’t to be a hardware problem. Since the iPhone X is mostly touch and pressure technology. It could be messing up his gameplay.

 

No it just started may 1st. I got the iPhone X months ago. Maybe 6-8 months ago.

 

Ok listen to me veeeeeeeery carefully. Take your phone and definestrate it. Pick it up, it should work.
