Confusing Mines

I just got a epic mine but the problem is if i use them and a person from the other team is using it we couldnt see the difference. Wich is very confusing. I thought like maybe the mines could look different so if i threw mines it would be green and the other greenstill blue because you could see them better with brighter colours.

 

We already highlight this to dev, no respond..... Yet.

 

If you drop a mine you know where it lands
If they had green and red colours you might aswell delete the item from the game.

 

Iif you could see the mines even more, by showing which team they belong to... they aren't really a weapon....

Mines are supposed to be like that. Not knowing if you die sailing through it.

 

No i mean like the other team will have the mines we have now so you still wont see them.

I agree with most people here. Mines are only effective when you don't know who's they are.
HOWEVER, I would urge the Devs to treat mines like fixer heal boxes. If a FRIENDLY boat runs over a mine, it should be diffused. The game shouldn't allow friendlies to run over the mine and the mine still be active. It should explode NO matter who runs it over. It just would NOT cause any damage to the friendly boat. And the friendly boat running it over would also not allow the extended damage to occur to passing boats.

 

That could be interesting but i think it would be a big nerf to it just because there would be no left but i think its an buff if someone is chasing you you could just go over it an the one behind you would get damage but i still dont think that would be great..

 

I understand the benefit of running over friendly mines when you are going in and out of say the Capture Zone in Drop Dead Gorge. It's beneficial to know that you can keep the other players out but you can cross the mines with no problem. HOWEVER, more often we have those close up battles that are like a 5 or 6 boat scrum. And what happens is their are now 8 or 10 mines in the scrum area. Now it's just a crap shoot. No skill involved. You just hope the mine you cross isn't the unfriends. I understand the arguments both ways. I just don't like weapons that are complete crap shoots and "luck".

 

Jeah i have that to but that with some people that use torpedos and dont know if they are going to hit. I get your point i hate the fact that people go around in a speeder and just spam mines leading the other team into them. But the nerf from before when a teammate or yourself go over it it would dissapear would be great for that.
