Collation of good advice/answers to FAQs

During the recent Toobers vid, @The Grim Repair said on a couple of occasions that there was already good information available on the subject on the forum and that players should look on the forum to understand the issues.

I agree with that premise, but the difficulty that we have currently is that trying to find the good advice is like trying to find a needle in a haystack in amongst a sea of arguments, memes, complaints etc. Even when you find a constructive post, it is difficult to know whether the information contained is factually correct. As an experienced player who is active on the forum, I have an idea if something has been previously discussed or not and whether answers are reliable, but newer members (who arguably are in greatest need of support) won’t.

I know we have a ‘pinned threads’ but even they are not pared down to contain purely useful information.

So instead what would be useful would be if these good bits of advice were collated somehow so that they were more easily found. I’m not sure how this could best be achieved, but it would really useful. Perhaps something like a cross between Wikipedia and the pinned messages?

 

But in one thread, there may only be one ‘nugget’ that is worth noting, which still may make it hard to find on a long thread (or even to hard to know that it is a nugget).
