Clashing talents between shields and firebomb in Brock's talent tree

Hi guys.
As u can see,Bhurt talent tree clashes between blast cannon and sniper cannon(That's reasonable).Because both are weapons and one must select blast or sniper for the maximum effectiveness of the selected weapon.

But in Brock's talent tree,there is some serious clash between shields and firebomb.Blast and sniper are both weapons so the clash is ok.But why between shields and firebomb?Standard shield and Big Shield are the essential blue items for all boats,isn't it?

Well,I'm a shooter user and I'm using Firebomb.I can't use either firebomb and shields to its full potential due to that clash.Then how could a captain(Shooter user) use both Firebomb and shield to its max effectiveness?Shield has a vital role to all ships(i.e to increase hp) so I need talents of shield more than fire bomb.

Brock talent tree needs to be reworked a little.If that talent tree can't be reworked,then remove firebomb from the game permanently.I will find a better weapon for firebomb.Any thoughts guys?

 

Well, I believe that this "firebomb interception" is meant to guide players into making wise choices when it comes to playstyle.
Do you want to trade attack power for health? (Firebomb vs Shields)
Do you prefer reliability or raw power?
(Sniper cannon vs Blast cannon)
Would you rather protect yourself, or harm others? (Tesla Shield vs Railgun)
Do you like taking risks, or playing it safe?
(Torpedoes vs Bandage)
It all depends on how you want to play, pal. And we all have made choices to sacrifice one aspect for another... But what matters most is that you find a build that you're comfortable with, then, strive to become excellent at what you use. The choice is yours.

 

agree , its logical , you need to choose one or go 50-50

 

I accept your idea but shield is an essential item for all ships.Why there should be a clash between an essential item and a weapon?

 

It is to discourage firebomb spamming on shooter

There are a lot of threads that are anti-firebomb

And firebomb is mostly shooters

 

Yeah shield is important so ditch your firebombs. You can't be tanky and spammer at the same time.

 

Did u know that firebomb is still powerful without any talents? The current firebomb meta is so op, that it still does well without any trainings, so go ahead and try full shield talents, your firebomb will still be rocking.

I think I might go through these 2 talents 50-50% since I'm currently using firebomb.

 

Firebomb user here, about 2 mil from legendary (don't often play shooter). All the talents in firebomb. All of them. Always. Buuuuurn!!!!!!
