Carronade slow effect

    Hi guys,
    I actually have swift with level 12 skill set to speed to all my boat instead of the slow effect on carronade, then i have level 16 and level 19 slow effect on carronade.
    But when i'm hitting with carronade, i don't see any icon showing the ennemy is slowed, and he doesn't seem to slow either.
    So my question is, if i want my carronade to slow ennemies, do i need absolutly the first skill allowing to slow ennemies with carronade which is the level 12 carronade one (that i don't have)?

    Yes probably I don't know either. Best way I can suggest is to retrain the crew training and see if it works.

    I checked you have to have that first skill of slowing effect in order to get boosts from latter ones.

    It appears so, if what you are saying is true then you do need the first skill trained. You got scammed Imo if you read the 16 and 19 abilities they say "Carronade hits slow the enemy 20% MORE" so it seems you would need the first skill activated for these to apply. It's an easy fix however just retrain for the first talent.
