So it is impossible for me to complete the Dedicated quest when the days on calendar say it's Monday when it is still Sunday here. For 2.5 more hours. Forcing me to spend pearls to earn the weekly bonus. This has happened so many times I can't even count.

I think it’s because the time is based on somewhere in Europe
(mine goes to the next day in the afternoon)
It’s pretty annoying, but I don’t see how they can make the timer different for everyone without it being exploited.

That's pretty messed up as there are so many games out there that easily lock in your time zone. Seems to be a really stupid oversight by Rovio that they will as usual do absolutely nothing to remedy.

I don’t know about other games, but PUBG mobile also does the same thing for me.
I guess people would manually change the time on their phones for extra rewards if they didn’t set the time to a server.

Exactly. You have to have a central location for this, otherwise you could change your time zone and potentially mess up rewards. Just log on every 24 hours and you'll be fine. Takes no time at all to check the calendar.

I did but there is not timer I can see to let me know when that clock resets. It must be around same time I login every night. Cause if I am a little behind for the night it drops my quest.

If you're unsure you need to be checking more than once, even with the time difference there should still be ample time to check for it.

@Help I Cant Swim, are we able to get a conformation of which time standard they use for this please i.e. GMT or US? It will be helpful for any future queries like this as it'll inevitably come up again.
