Since sniper cannon has more range and projectile speed than blast cannon, so I thought that it would be easier to shot instead, but I've noticed that cannon can cross waves better than sniper cannon.

At the same distance, I see signal for sniper cannon not ready, but cannon ready.
Shots with the cannon generally do need to be calibrated, but sniper cannon misses shot with auto aim if the object is moving.

I have noticed it too, seems like the sniper trajectory is more straight so it can break more easily against waves.
It makes sense, it is a sniper cannon :)

The sniper is a straight weapon. Cannon moves in an arc, so it crosses waves a lot easier. Then there's the damn railgun.... Can't hit with that if my life depended on it. That's how I got over my shooter faze xd. Now I'm a jolly defender using all arced projectile weapons:)

He means manually adjusting the aim slightly by holding the fire button (due to the slow projectile speed, need to lead you shot more with cannon)

oh you mean leading your shot? You have to do that with sniper too if shooting at distance, just not to such a high extent.

Can anyone list all the weapons that have an arc projectile, or better list them in descending arcs:

    like
    Cannon, blast cannon, explosive cannon
    sniper cannon
    railgun

    Both weapons have different advantages:
I've level 20 rare cannon (and a separate cannon) and a level 20 uncommon sniper (with 15% crit chance).
I can shot more DPS with a rare cannon, but with sniper cannon I can play game more easily that I don't go have to go much close and still shoot something.

Railgun wouldn't really count as it has no arc whatsoever. It's a point weapon.

Descending arcs is kind of hard, but... the arced weapons are cannon, blast cannon, explosive cannon, missile launcher, all mortars(big berta I think has biggest, able to cross some walls while others can't), napalm, and fire bomb. Now in order, big berta, fire bomb, other mortars, missiles, napalm, cannon, explosive cannon, blast cannon. And sniper has almost no arc, and railgun literally has a zero degree arc. I think that's all the weapons, other than torpedos... There might be more but idk.(I'm unsure about flare gun so I didn't put that in. I'm pretty sure flare gun is straight)

    Thanks for the detailed answer.

Thanks, as far as arcs are considered, I feel the best is fire bomb, it do good damage, has a long duration, plus other players also get benefit for increased canon damage as the enemy is burning. It can be used at many-many places where mortars can't be used. Also, it can be fired direct at your own ship: full range unlike mortars, missile launchers, etc. One big con is that it's ineffective in head-on fights where we want the direct damage.
