Cannon Critical hit damage perks...! for what..?

    I am having Cannon Critical hit damage perks for 2 of my weapons...
    but i never saw any Extra damage till now..with my Exp.Cannon nor cannon which are having "Increase critical hit damage perks".

    Also i have Snipper cannon critical hit chance perks..(Increase chance for critical hit)
    It works mostly 1 or 2 times in each match for my snipper.

    I would like to know the use of Cannon critical hit damage perk.....

    Non sniper Crit damage perks aren't great because they only take effect when your cannon crits. The cannons other than sniper only have a base crit chance of 1% so the perk will only take effect one shot in a hundred. You are better off using straight damage or fire damage perks for cannons

    The bigger crit ‘chance’ perks are pretty fun on BC abs ExC. Obviously, not as reliable as sniper, but they’re awesome when they trigger, and they happen more than you might think.

    The bigger crit ‘damage’ perks seem to be less useful. As there is no point having bigger crits if they never turn up.

    Cannon Critical Hit Damage perks must be improved:
    Uncommon: 15%
    Rare: 22.5%
    Epic: 30%
    This will make them a little more useful than they are now. But even after then I don't think they will be much more likely to use.

    Critical damage boost will only beuseful if you also have high crit chance

    Cannon crit amount are place holders until you get that specific perk for your sniper.

    Exactly. Even a 200% damage boost (which doesn't exist) for the 1 in 100 shot is pointless.

    It may bbe better in the endgame, maybe, when your base crit(with crew) exceeds 20%? Maybe then people will invest in better damage?

    I know the information on cannons says 1%, but for some reason I've seen my cannons crit way more than 1 out of 100 without perks. My sniper (which has a 20% chance) crits all the time. I'm guessing the percentages are bumped a little with each shot. Probably an extra 1% to 10%. But even if this is true (it's just a theory of mine) I would still never put this perk on my cannon. Keep the perks like a bank account. Sell it for a lot of gold when you need it the most.
