Button size on the Redmi Note 4

Hey, devs, so I bought my first speeder mk5 the other day, and I noticed that the button size is TINY. My friend uses a moto G4+ and he has the big buttons. No matter how I config the HUD, the button size stays the same. No images, I'm working on that. It's like the buttons have been reset to the lowest size. (Refers to the weapon selection buttons, everything else works fine)

 

Damn, really? I had some trouble in a 1v1 against a mk5 defender yesterday(yeah, I can 1v1 defenders now). Kept him busy while his team died, and then one of my shooters came and saved me. I had 700hp remaining.

But still, it's problematic.

 

Naw, I tried. Apparently it's because of all the slots don't fit in.

 

@The Grim Repair can you peeps do something about this? I'm sure the buttons can go bigger. Please do a fix, I'm having trouble piloting my speeder mk5.

 

@TheAntiSnipe could you send us a screenshot so we have a better understanding of what issues you are facing?

 

I have a 2.00 weapon size in this pic, but it's going only upto some small value.

There you go. Compare it with what I usually use(2.00, not needed, bit I have big fingers) and it's really small. Also, I can see that it can go a little bit upward and be bigger, but it wont.

 

So what's happening here is that the game scales the weapon icons down to fit the screen. As there are 5 weapons in your example - 2.00 would not fit.
In the preview you see 3 weapons, which would represent the "new player" experience, so for that the scaling works exactly as shown.

Does that explain it?

 

That was what I doubted. So I can't have the big slots?

 

Nope :/ Not with more than 3 Weapon slots

 

Am I interpreting this correctly.....

Because there are too many item slots on his screen, he cannot go to max item-image size because it would be too large. If this is the case, shouldn't there be a "sweet spot" that makes the images right at the max size for his screen but not over that limit? Somewhere under 2.0... maybe the OP can play around with this. Just an idea.

 

I tried, but it resets to a default size, not a custom one.
