    Its related to your season rewards, not your overall captains level :)

    Every season you get season points based on your position in your league which is used to upgrade your captain badge :)

    At the end of every season, you get points depending on how and where you ranked in your league. These season points contribute to badge change - colour and number of stars on your badge. Doesn’t count for anything though, I didn’t even notice mine was changing until 5 months into the game :oops::oops:o_O
