Anyone else hating Drunk Mode?

Are you having fun with 5v5 Elimination Max Agility special event?

  1. Nope. I only drive sober.

  2. Yups. At least, speeders won't circle around me.

  3. Yeah! I was born alcoholic.

    Max Agility is very very bad for speeders because they can no longer circle around me. That's why I am little bit happy.
    But then, I lose my sanity while controlling my ship. I even went inside Settings to find control sensitivity, but without any luck.
    So far I have got only 1 coin from each of game I played in this event.

    I've had lots of experience piloting a ship while inebriated, so this is right up my alley. ;)

    I have a sneaking suspicion that once speeders get the hang of the new agility, they’ll love it. It’s just taking time to transition.

    But what they describe is how I feel when I play speeder in normal ranked. This event definitely wouldn’t be the time to experiment and try out speeder.

    I am loving it. It did take me a few rounds to get used to it. Now I'm dreading going back to slow poke mode. Zero chance I start equipping lube and rudder though. 100% chance my next 25 combines are one of the two.

    I'm just doing like 3or4 games in event, and then a couple in normal just to get my eyes straight haha! Very tempted to use a rudder though... Once I get my OB up to scratch lol

    I think the event proves that using either rudder or lube is ideal... using them together is too chaotic.

    Kinda sorta. For defender, I use a legendary rudder most of the time (because I don't have another shield for that slot). It helps to avoid mortars and torps.

    But, I turn so sharply that it pulls the targeting reticle off enemies that are either stationary or moving the other way because my turret can't keep up. Generally speaking, I can't turn and fire accurately at the same time because I don't run gear lube.

    This event isn't that bad after getting used to of it.. And boys, rewards are holy in the name of awesome!

    Don't use napalm or torps, they are a lot easier to dodge.
    Flare+any cannon is working really well for me.
    Event is about to end soon though, so yeah :p
