Another Look At Sniper Cannon

    I'm interpreting the fire bonus nerf as a nerf to Blast Cannons, therefore I'm reconsidering dropping my Blast and moving over to Sniper. Good or bad decision?

    Bad. I run flare+2x sniper combo and there's almost no difference when the enemy is on fire or not. At least with blast cannons you can add fire perks

    Bad. Blast cannon will still be better with fire perks. With sniper, you gotta get all the epic sniper crit perks just to get near to the consistent damage of the blast cannon (not counting the damage from fire perks on the blast yet). This is just taking damage into account, not the low risk high reward of sniper vs high risk high reward for blast.
