A tricky question.....about Tesla shield

    Hi guys!!! I was just wondering......think I have a flare gun and blast cannon in my setup and the blast cannon contain burning damage perks......I shooted my flare gun on an enfo.....than as he is burning he wear a Tesla shield......and I shooted my blast cannon.......what will happen......I mean

    The TS blocks 500 damage
    My blast cannon do 480 damage.....but as he is burning it will do more than 500......so the TS will break or not??

    I think the shield and the ship are seperate entities, so the burning ship won’t make any difference to the shield.

    This was in the last update:

    Interpreting how it applies to a Tesla Shield is a bit tricky. Does the Tesla Shield burn for a time, whereas Fire perks apply to the shield? Or does the Tesla Shield get the full lifetime damage at once, and the subsequent BC hit will not get the burn perks because burning is done.

    I believe the burning does not apply to the shield because your doing damage to the shield not the ship.
