A new system to prevent floaters

    There should be a system where if someone has been floating for 3 battles IN A ROW, they should get a 1 or 2 hour ban. That way they will learn to not float. And it can't be exploited by just moving a little bit. Here's what I would suggest.

    Challenger league: must deal at least 250 damage to count as 'playing' in III, 300 in II, 400 in I

    Warrior:must deal at least 1000 damage in III, 1500 in II, 2000 in I. The rest is up to those who have been to master and above, as I have never even TOUCHED master.

    nice ,but the dmg should be considered once in 3 matches and there should be a count of how many shots you fired WITH auto target on the enemy as sometimes there are these guys fleeting and shooting at each other at the back....like really?:mad::eek:

    no it is like the person should reach your dmg goal at least once in 3 matches, not combined:p

    Exactly. Suiciders do not deserve to play. They just cause their entire team to lose.

    any system which works is fine by me!!
    This will greatly improve the matchmaking in the aspect of like having 4 players in your team with no fixer vs having 5 in the other team with a fixer.

    if battle bay sees guys dropping infamy on purpose for 3 matches straight , like you said
    Then, boom,, 1000 infamy less, you wanted to drop infamy, take it, dont let people in your team lose

    Do we even know what the current penalties are for floaters? (I’ve never read anywhere what they are)

    For all I know, the only penalty is the high risk of being reported.

    The problem is, if we don’t know what the current penalty is, we have no way of deciding whether your system is better or worse.
    We could be voting for something that is less lenient than what the devs already have in place.
    Don’t get me wrong, I completely agree with you that floaters should be punished, and some of the stories on here of deliberately not joining in the battle are mindblowing.

    1-2 hours of ban is pretty lenient in my standards.
