5 x 1= 2?! 5x Contribution question

    First of all, what’s the point in having 5x or 10x contribution on certain guild quests?
    Secondly, I keep seeing numbers like 2 and 13. How does that happen with a 5x multiplier?

    5x 10x contribution is applied when you use the correct weapon or ship for that quest. The reason you see other numbers because other ships can also contribute to the quest but they would not get that multiply boost from quest but from their guild boost

    “_____” weapon damage quest:
    (Multiplier without specified weapon use, multiplier with specified weapon)
    No boost, no fleet: (x1, x10)
    No boost, fleet: (x2, x20)
    X2boost, no fleet: (x2, x20)
    X2boost, fleet: (x4, x40)
    X5boost, no fleet: (x5, x50)
    X5boost, fleet: (x10, x100)

    Deal 1000 damage with specified wep in a fleet and x5 boost = 100,000 damage.

    A combination of these could yield odd numbers such as 13. I suggest you only use boosts when fleeting, unless you have a surplus, or a lack of members to fleet with.

    Your using other weapons and they count towards damage quests.

    Ahhhhhh. I see. I figgered the bonus and the contribution was ONLY for the specific weapon or ship. That’s interesting. When you mention the fleet bonus, is the for a fleet specific quest or does that apply to every single quest? Makes me feel a little less hopeless about the dreaded carronade quests. Thanks for all the feedback!

    Fleeting works for any quest, they changed it a little while back from being a requirement on some quests to a bonus for all quests. Good luck with that carro quest man :)
