10 battles played and in 8 of them Unfriends had a Fixer

Hello All,

Don't know if this is a bug, but it is weird anyway. I played 10 battles spread over 6 hours or so. And 8 out of 10 battles, the Unfriends team had a mk5 or mk6 Fixer. Only 1 battle we had a Fixer. Of the 10 battles, the Unfriends won 8. No wonder with such strong Fixers, some have bigger healing power than my weapons do damage.

This is extreme, but I see always more Fixers with the Unfriends than with my team. How come?

I believe more battles are won with a Fixer on board. I must take notes to prove it, don't know if I have the energy for it. But losing 8 out of 10 battles where all battles have a Fixer on the side of the Unfriends says something else.

Btw I don't say it is deliberate, that the Unfriends get the Fixer. But Fixers usually have higher Infamy than Shooters. So, this will contradict the numbers that is does not matter that much or does it?

Fixers have higher infamy that shooters? Idk about that, but maybe it's just because of the ship's role/style. For example, (Disclaimer: I'm not exactly sure; just pointing out my observations and thoughts) pro speeder mk5s seem to have higher infamy than pros of other ships. That's because speeder is a ship that is very skill dependent, unlike other boats like shooter. So maybe there's just some part of a fixer's gameplay that rewards them with higher infamy?

I'm guessing that you had won too much earlier, so the game is making you lose to maintain the 50% win loss ratio. Check your battles played and battles won; that's likely the cause of this stroke of misfortune.

 

You are right, I answered before I read the link from Miika. They have the software to calculate it all, so these numbers must be right. I cannot beat that and I don't doubt that.

I see a lot of mk2 Fixers between the mk4 and mk5 Shooters and others in battle. More so, than mk2 Shooters. But I might be wrong as well. Maybe they can post an average Infamy of all type of boats on the forum. Will be interesting to see if there is a difference in boats. But it might also be just different type of people, like long term Fixer users, could well be more careful than Shooters. Maybe that is why they win more? Do not know, but I see quite often the Fixer who makes it to the end of the battle, while many others are already sunk.

You say the game is making me lose. But how can it make me lose, they Unfriends I face are pretty much the same Infamy and boats. I do see more losijg streaks and longer than winning streaks, but how come? Why can't I win 30 battles in a row. Should be possible or not? Although playing with random teams makes it harder, i get that.

 

Problem with this game is the unbalance in weapons and gear, because I cannot compete against people with t5 epics, but I see them all the time. Maybe if the make the same levels for everyone, the game would be a lot more fun. And I think it is weird these winning and losing streaks, maybe you get stronger opponents if you win some battles, otherwise you would not have these ever returning streaks. Impossible!
