New Perk Ideas

    Hey guys, in order to make the game more fun we need new variety. So let's all come up with some new perks and attributes to add to the game.

    Shield only Perks:
    Crit Resistance:
    This directly negates the chance of weapons with crit chance that can crit on you.
    UN: 1.5% R: 3% EP: 4.5%
    So if a defender runs 4 shields all with Crit Resistance, then it will have 72% crit resistance. So a grenade with all crit perks only has a 16% chance to crit and all other weapons cannot crit on a defender.

    Weapon Perks:
    Siphon:
    Damage done with the weapon this perk is equipped to will restore the users HP.
    UN: 0.5% R: 1% EP: 1.5%
    For example, a big torp can restore 6% of the damage done as HP.

    Dude, siphon on my standard cannon. It's my most easiest, most reliable weapon to use on my shooter, and often does about half of my damage. You already know you're gonna use siphon, too LOL duct tape + siphon = very aggressive fixer.

    Ok, I can think of a few more. I won't be bothered to come up with the numbers and whatnot, but I might come back and edit them in when I have more time.
    • Insulation [shields] - reduces the duration of frost, burn, and stun effects
    • Resistance [tesla bolt] - gives the stun a % chance to not break when getting shot, only works for the first potential stun-break, second hit will always break
    • Permafrost [frost items] - starting at 100% frost removal when getting shot, these decrease that % removal
    • Armor Penetration [point-damage weapons] - negates % of armor (armor needs buff if this is available), added as % damage against tesla shields
    • Explosive [area-damage weapons] - increases the blast radius, can also be applied to ex cannon, debating on missile launcher
    • Slow [carronade] - adds a flat boost to the carronade slow, independent of whether or not the talent is activated

    Oh god, I'm picturing big torpedoes or mines with explosive perks.
