Individual battle achievments?

    Do these achievements during individual battles, actually hold any weight in the star system? Or are they just more or less a screen interruption.

    I think it was a great implementation but now, it just seems to have become useless, unless there is a greater meaning behind them. Thanks guys!

    As far as i’m concerned they do nothing but get in my view of enemies every time I make a “long shot”. Which is many times every match.

    I run dual long range mortars so it literally just blocks my view half the match.

    The idea behind the battle achievements is:
    - a cool way to either see your own progress (handling weapons, your skill etc.)
    - set some challenges for yourself / see how good you are at certain things. :)
    - overall a way you can show-off and feel good. :D

    Oh and the popular achievement from every unfriendly taking a shot at my fat boy! I roll hard in big blue >:)

    I get the popular acheivment all the time in my enforcer, it turns out nobody likes mortars. My favorite is the “protector” for shielding friendlies from damage, which doesn’t apply to mortar aoe they might have taken only direct shots.

    Then theres the “record” achievement whenever you break your old “time frozen” record on somebody. The frost launcher has a shorter cooldown than duration.
