Limit of mortars

    Okay, this getting piss me off player used too many f**king mortars I’m having hard time getting out of target no matter any ships yes used nitro or shield to escape but not always. I was stables 2000 to 2200 infamy NOW I’m down to 1400 no star, less reward, no xp whatever I got biggest damage to them. FIX THIS S*IT UP!!

    All Mortars SHOULD be increase 3 or 4 slot to limit into the ships.

    Funny, I don't usually have big issues with mortars even if I'm using a slow shooter with just rare turbo (far from max speed). Mortars do not need a nerf, you just need to get out of their sight.

    Mortars need a speed nerf at lower levels but 2 speed buffs at highet levels.

    In principle, I agree. The problem is shooters have too many weapon slots, which encourages them to spam. Ideally, I don’t think any ship should have more than three guns.

    Eh... Did you actually imagine how ridiculous would a shooter with just three guns be - even if you had total 6 weapon points for these slots? Why would anyone choose to play one of the slowest and least agile ships if they didn't really get any extra firepower (or hp like defender)..?

    Personally, I think it’s already rediculous, and I’d rather it wasn’t in the game at all, so I wouldn’t care if no one played it.

    However, I wasn’t suggesting that the shooter should have two guns removed. I just think that the game should have been designed ‘from the beginning’ with a 3 gun max, and have the ship types designed and balanced from there.

    Yes at low infamy it is a mortar fest but at higher infamy it becomes a torp fest and with decent turbo dodging mortars should not be a problem.
