It's always been p2w, but they're really pushing it over the edge with these deals.
It's a shame because overpowered noobs completely ruin the gameplay.

It looks like they are offering known items to purchase to combat claims they are running an RNG mobile casino with "loot boxes" that have come under scrutiny lately.

Generally, you would give faithful customers better deals. It seems with rovio, the more you buy the more you pay lmao! They know where they can put those power cells.
I've got a few guys in my clan that p2p and even they had to laugh it this "deal" so ridiculous, I couldn't stop laughing as they sent images to our line group.
My favorites are the 1.6x! I've never seen a studio this bold(take it however you feel) in their sales efforts LMFAO

Yeah these deals shocked me a bit.
    Rovio is basically saying
"give us your money and we'll give you what you need"
    Not impressed Rovio... Not impressed.

Everyone just needs to quit playing. No ad revenue then either.

I see no point of buying anything in this game. If you buy better weapons, you'll start winning and gain infamy. You'll climb ranks and start facing other filthy rich kids who spend more than you.

You might have higher infamy to brag about, but in the end your game would be the same. Your might be stronger now, but you also face stronger opponents. No different when you're weaker and face weaker opponent.

    That’s not really true.

At lower levels you’re severely limited by the number of item slots, and things like Tesla Bolt are worthless with thier low level duration. Also you have fewer perk slots, which means less variety and customisation.

At higher levels with higher rewards, you have many more strategic options, which does IMO make for a better game. It isn’t simply the same game scaled up, there are quite a lot of meaningful differences, and thus reasons to progress (beyond bragging rights).
