Can you make it, so you can change targets with a button, without acturally "locking on" to a target. The target lock is so restrictive in screen movement, but it is also on the verge of impossible to change to the wanted target, without using the "target lock".

It could be the same arrows that are already on the screen, except you could press them without locking on to the target.

    That's an interesting idea.
You can tap on the boat you want to focus on though.

Are you serious? i Didnt know that. But i stille think it would make great sense to have the button enabled at all times.

I tried it, it didn't work. Also, watch that location kite video of mine, I always have target lock on after enemy sighting, and I've become good at fast-switching targets while fighting and commanding. Now if only I could be faster with my Bhurt and Buzzkill trainings, I have to get my excannon up and running.

    where is that video?
I hate the target lock on mechanism, since you cant rotate the camera, but i find it necessary to learn, because it's so hard to select the wanted target without it.

You won't understand much since the video just shows the same fluid movements you'd see without target lock, but they're done with the lock on, because you never know when a target will come for you, and trust me, as a speeder, you don't want to make the first mistake in a dogfight... Also, my playstyle is hybrid, and is NOT a realistic expectation for a speeder main. Anyway.

This is the video. If you're curious about my style, let me answer. I was, in my early days, a defender. The 'constant commanding' part comes from there. I switched to fixer and shooter after a thousand or so matches, gaining the patience(to a point lol) and teamplay parts of my style. Finally, as a speeder, I try to support the team, and depending on who makes the first mistake in the battle, I switch to either my assassin(no commands, high damage) or my strategist(commands, low damage, tactical plays) attributes.

In the video you'll notice that I adopt a passive style after balmore goes down. The fixer saw me, and thus was facing me and could not assist his shooter, making him the "first mistake".
