    1. When a torpedo hit a ship from the same team, it doesn't do any damage at all. So without the initial damage, how can there be any splash damage? A friend shot a torpedo towards the unfriend ship, but he managed to dodge it. However, the torpedo hit me and it actually kill that unfriend ship because I was right behind him. He probably wondered why he was destroyed though, cos he didn't see me.

    2. Splash damage resulting from torpedo hitting an object (such as walls) should only occur when the shot is taken from a longer distance.
Many times when I am in 1 vs 1 situation, the unfriend ship that shoots torpedoes didn't even calculate the trajectory and take a leading shot. Instead, he turned sideway, pointing at the wall and SHOOT!!! And the ridiculous thing is, it works at such a short distance and make a huge range of splash damage to sink my ship:(

Do you think that the splash damage needs to be adjusted?

If they nerf splash, they might as well remove the torps from the game. And you don't hold onto walls while you are up against torpedo users. Most torpedo shots are hard to hit as it is. Walls and obstacles are a special feature of the torp like every other weapons has in some way.

My favorite special feature is how when i shoot a wall with a blast cannon, the projectile becomes invisible

Learning splash damage is the key to success with torps.

I deliberately hit a friendly ship if there are a group of enemies close by, and learning how to force people to the walls for guaranteed big hits is crucial.

If splash damage was nerfed, then they would be useless.

“If splash damage was nerfed, then they would be useless.” Totally agree. It’s not often you score a direct hit especially with big and swift torps

Yes the enmies would only have to move out of the path slightly, and that is easily done.

I'm not a huge fan of the splash damage on receipt but I'm sure happy to deal it out. I think the splash damage could do with a bit of a reduction when the impact is not on the ship directly though, I had a match where my friendly took the direct hit but I ended up taking more damage than they did on the splash.

I dont find 2k damage with unlimited range useless.Big torp has Ridiculous 3.5 radius,at least -0.5 would be good. There is like no escape from it in maps like wayward.

It was nerfed two updates ago. No, they need no adjusting. No splash damage needs more adjusting. I think they need a buff back to normal and stop being snowflakes about it.
