    My new ship, what about the Deployer. It's like a fixer, but instead of healing items, it gives the team buffs. It will have 4 orange item slots, I'll get it those later, and 2 red item slots, it's just that it can only hold up to three slot points. The orange items will be things like damage buff Pulse, which is like repair Pulse but increases team damage for a while, speed bolt, which will make someone faster for a period of time, like an overboost, a box that could give someone better ship stats for a period of time, and a resistance pulse, that will make your team take less damage. Both pulses though only do 50% effect to the deployer but 100% to the team. Perks will be made for these items to. The resistance Pulse will also make you take less fire damage if on fire or set on fire, and the same case for being frozen. What do you think? And the color of the ship will be orange.

    Will be way too powerful.
    Imagine a team of them, all boosting each others power and reducing damage they all take.
    Just for arguments say its 5% to self and 10% to team, they will all be dishing out 145% damage and receiving only 55% of the damage they take, let alone with the speed perks too haha.
    They would disintegrate everything!

    the basic idea of a 'support' type ship is a good one, but I think it could be acomplished with a ship with an equal amount of yellow/green peices.

    when he says 50% and 100% he dosn't mean the actual incresse, but the amount of incresse listed on the item that gets aplied.
    (as in, the 50% effect on yourself from the repair pulse)
    ... I think.
    or It's just insanly unbalenced.

    It would need a lot of beta testing and balancing but I like the idea, a buff ship. It can have bolt and blaster type buff items that temporarily increase power, max out speed and agility

    You can make the restriction that the new buff removes the old buff, and it will be that only 1 buff can act on the ship.

    The ship's color would have to be violet because the shooter ship is red, the enforcer is "orange", the speeder is yellow, fixers are green, defender would take blue/indigo. Completing the rainbow is the ships destiny.

    We need a violet ship that fires violet debuff items, and uses slots that provide buffs to your team. That would be badass. One thing I would love(multiple things, actually)

    Acid: A debuff that does not do any damage if you have armor on your ship, but allows shots to bypass ship defence completely. If the shield defence is low(below 20 or so) it causes health loss over its DoT.
    Oil: Again, a zero direct damage debuff to the enemy, which boosts the burn damage stat. Ships that are hit by oil and napalm begin to burn.
    Salt: When this debuff hits an enemy ship, frost causes the frostbite status effect, which deals DoT while the debuff is ON.
    Antifreeze: A buff effect, lasting x seconds, that prevents your teammates from getting frozen.
    Extinguisher: Extinguishes fires.
    Scrambler: While you have it ON, a violet glow surrounds your ship like a huge tesla shield. While your teammates stay within the area, they are invisible to enemy ships. Large cooldown, 2 slot probably.

    The ship, imo, needs new slots to go with it.

    Mk6
    Mk7
    Stats to be suggested by you guys. But I recommend two reds from mk6. No greens. One yellow max. And violet slots(oh goody). Two violet slots at mk4 onwards.

    Very nice write up and the ship actually sounds feasible :)
    Definitely needs at least 1 weapon like a fixer, just in case you get to last man standing :)
    You could actually copy the fixers slots, replacing the green fix slots for violet debuff slots.
    Would be pretty balanced IMO.
