Uncommon Railgun Damage Perk

Hi there. I bought the Uncommon Railgun Damage the other day and I have no idea how to "fit" it onto my railgun. When I try and add it to the ship, it says I can't add it to the ship. When I take the railgun off the ship and put it into my inventory, nothing happens there either.

 

Hey! You need to level up your uncommon weapons to tier 2 before you're able to add a perk.

I'll just copy what I answered on the thread "selling items"

Go to your railgun and you'll see some circles on the lower part of the weapon's menu, probably locked ones. If they are unlocked you can press on the circles and it will show you which perks you can add to that weapon for you to choose. The amount and availability of perks depends on how rare the weapon is (the rarer the more perks it will be able to fit and the sooner they don't unlock) and amount of evolutions (which is the way to unlock more perk slots). Rare weapons come with one open slot, uncommons unlock one after the first evolution.

 

Ahhhhh, gotcha! I'm waiting on an extra rail gun so I can level up to tier 2. Well, I guess I'll just hold on to this perk until then lol.

You'll also need the corresponding crew member upgraded to lvl 8 to unlock tier 2 evolution. In the case of the rail gun it's the last crew member, Dr Buzzkill.

 

Yeah, I saw that. I'm almost at the point where I can unlock him.

I didn't know if it was a him or her, as it's blacked out at the moment.

 

It will likely be awhile because you won't be able to get the good dr upgraded till you're lvl 20+
