what makes a hit CRITICAL?

    I was thinking what is it that makes a hit critical.
    Is it hitting at centre of the ship, range, timing, mobility, anything else or just randomly hit turn into critical??

    There is a % chance, for example, my [insert weapon] has a crit chance of 5%. Or, approximately 5 out of 100 shots will be critical.

    So that mean randomly my shots will be critical, frequency depends on percentage..

    When you are a speeder and you have about 1k health left and someone hits you with a sniper rifle. You will know it is critical because you will be dead.:(:mad:

    ...sometimes. I never missed a shot on my snipe, at the end of it all, I was a shooter with an rare t3 sniper cannon critting at 22.5%. It was a beast. But then, the speeder life called out to me.

    Sarcastic answer: wait for it; wait for it.......it's critical when you are down all teammates and 1v5 and nothing but sniper hits will do...then with only one shot each and just enough time to each opponent once. Your hit will "Crit."

    I just started using it on my mk5 enforcer. Maybe I will stop using it in hope RNG gives me another one:p this tactic worked before in order to get dupes only way is to stop using it so devs think yeah he is not using is lets give him 2-3 dupes.
