Capture Areas

    Does anyone else feel that the Capture Area is unnecessary? Or, at least, highly annoying.

    The capture area is a strategic tactic, for luring enemies towards you. For example;
    You are in a 1 vs 1 and you are a slow shooter with full hp. The enemy is a pesky speeder with little hp left, so he/she runs away to force a draw, because there is quite a high chance that they will lose. So then you go to the capture zone to start capturing(because you are too slow to get the speeder); if the speeder doesn't stop the capture, you win, or if the speeder comes to you, you can destroy it, which will lead to a win.
    Another strategy is that if the enemy is crowded around their fixer, and you are having trouble hitting, you can go to the capture zone, and lure them out.

    So the capture zone is necessary, but can be annoying at times.

    CHILL ZONE AND WAYWARD PINES :-You can effectively capture if there are speeder in your team and enemy doesn't. Since capture points are too far from spawn sites

    DAMAGE DEPOT :- capturing divides the team, either they get exposed while trying to stop capture from main entrance or Get diverted in choke point in corner. Again advantage when you have speeder and enemy doesn't.

    The foundry :-Most effective central capture point when you don't have a fixer in your team. If all 5 teammates co-operate either enemy team loses while healing and hiding, or they have to attack continuously without healing to prevent capture

    These are maps where i have found capture to be most useful. Although we did win once in SUB ZERO Against three fixers by capturing

    REST IS as @Torpp said, most common use of capture

    Capture area is even helpful when only 2 players left (1v1) with equal chances to win (same hitpoints or so), but they're lost and don't know how to find each other (some maps are tricky and tracking doesn't always help). So one of them gets in capture zone ringing the bell for the final clash.
