Training Crew members

    I've been playing Battle Bay for a while. My big question is still..what's the use of training crew besides it costs me a lot of Sugar? Does it mean when you have leveled up a crew member, you'll get more points? And when I train like Feelix... I must use my fixer? Or is it just about when I get feelix to say level 3 and I must use my fixer for a quest, I'll get more points because I leveled up Feelix. Please anyone?

    An odd question for someone playing for a while but...

    First, obviously training gives you perks for certain weapons. Even crew members you do not use may have a boost to the ship you are using or be for all ships/weapons. Second they give you xp to increase your captain level. Captain level increases your sugar and gold capacity, and unlocks the ability to upgrade ships at certain levels.
