Similarly, you're "gimping" your team by not taking advantage of having a fixer on your team assuming you choose not to come back for health every once in a while. It's a team game afterall. Besides, it's clear that you're biased; you seem to think that dealing damage is a better contribution to the team than heals.

As you didn't respond to my view on matchmaking, I'll assume you agree w/ me on that.

It's definitely a team game but when you have a fixer(s) on your team by default a disproportionate amount of the team strategy becomes focused on the fixer(s) just to make use of their one capability. It's not like I never played healer in any game but the mechanic is poorly implemented in BB in the context of all its other elements. If you look at how the flow of the game is without a fixer, it shouldn't be changing so significantly just because you have one ship of a certain type on the team.

Your point about matchmaking was a sidetrack so I just left it there.

You're saying that they should remove fixer completely. I disagree. Simple. Bye!

Yeah, they should. But they don't have the balls to undo what was a no-balls move in the first place. So instead some Dev manager will end up reading random bottom comments on a video of a fixer v fixer match about how this game looks boring as fk, realize hey this isn't a good look, and start another nerf/rebuff cycle. The best things about this game have zero to do with clustering up next to a no-skill-required button pressing WoW healer lobbing mortars and guesswork torps at enemies you can barely see if at all.

This thread is seemingly pointless, there are cascades of players who I can confidently say would disagree. This if not actually the case, is borderline trolling.

A fixer is far from a 'gimped' class to play and doesn't 'gimp' matches. What 'gimps' matches is the behaviour and performance of the team you're set up with. That's the nature of the beast for you.

The true beast here is the terrible reading comprehension that many of you exhibit. And then you wonder why I act salty or maybe like I think you're not capable of understanding much and need to be told things in a very firm and blunt way lol.

Thanks for pointing out fixer isn't gimped, as I never said that it was. Thanks for also pointing out that a fixer doesn't gimp matches, as I never said that it did. What I did say, which is that if the team doesn't stick by the fixer they are gimping their chance to win, you've actually agreed with here. Your final step towards complete agreement with me is to acknowledge that the presence of a fixer in matches generally tends to gimp the playing experience of the rest of the team. I'll wait.

I can fully comprehend what you're saying, kid, as can pretty much everyone else. I’d recommend you review your posts before you feel the need to generally mock forum members, especially when you start contradicting yourself. Whether you explicitly used those words I used or not, you have indeed impressed the very things you’re denying. The experience of the game comes from the matches and in turn, the matches are fought with the players selected. Going from what you’ve inferred in your second to last sentence, you’re of the belief that the gaming experience is gimped because matches are gimped as fixers are an aspect of the game and you don't like them. It doesn’t matter how you try to spin it or get around it that pretty much sums up your entire contribution in this thread.

I hate speeders, I really don't like them and I'm tempted to re-roll one just to see what the hype is about. I also don't like the fact that Rovio designed a speedboat to have the capacity to store a couple rockets up its rear end and to let them slap you in the face with a Tesla Bolt whilst letting off a smiling torpedo to ruin your day. Is that a gimped class? No, it's challenge and an interesting dynamic of the game that pushes you to change your tactics. It does not drive the need to go on a burning crusade to rid them from the game.

As for the illusion you have of me agreeing with you, I’ve merely highlighted that what makes for bad experiences is bad game play. I’ve seen top notch players and tripe players from every class. It all comes down to the team you’re dealt. Hate the player. Not the game.

Now, can we stop ‘gimping’ this thread, have a more constructive discussion if there is anything further of benefit to discuss? Oh and pass me some of that salt before my fish & chips get cold!

LOL so your lack of reading comprehension is my fault now? No. If you could have proved it with any quotes, you would have. But you couldn't so you didn't.

@The Grim Repair I think it's time to close this topic as it's starting to get out of hand. (Please forgive me for bothering you that much)

Well if WISHAAL thinks it's time to close the thread, I guess a mod better hurry up and close it.

Really? That's it? So much for wanting an adult conversation.

Learn to play a fixer, you might learn to like them ;)

We can't have an adult conversation when you try to say I said things I didn't say and made points I didn't make, then try to blame me for it when I point it out. But you couldn't help it because you felt embarrassed and wanted to try to.blame someone.

As for fixers, the point has never been about how fun or not fun they are to play,, but about how they subtract from the fun of the other players on their team.
