Rail guns - how do they work?

    i have just acquired a tail gun, but noticed that a percentage appears when aiming, what does this mean?? No where actually says!

    I have never tried railgun, but if I had to guess its probably the percent of damage it will deal.. The farther the target is from you the more damage you can do.

    More far you are with a percentage you do you full Dmg and closer you are a percentage show up and show how much dps you can do
