Ships disappearing / falling off radar

    Been happening almost every game now that I play speeder, it's not my ping it's below 30. I have fleets being invisible and then appearing directly in front of me

    Is this an intermittent problem or something being looked into

    We have never seen a single case where there would have been any issues with the visibility, other than players misunderstanding how the visibility system works. If you feel you are encountering some bug with it please record some game play so it can be assessed.

    Maybe I'm misunderstanding how the visibility system works, are ships supposed to just randomly disappear and reappear within striking distance?

    The ships don't disappear randomly. I'm assuming in your screenshot the ship is somewhere near the capture area? You can't see the ship because there is a wall between you. The visibility is calculate from ship to ship. If there is a wall between your ships, you can't see the ship.

    No it's not. If your ship (or any ship in your team) sees an enemy ship, then you see the ship. Otherwise you don't. Very consistent and non-random.

    This is 'normal.' :) But yeah it's annoying when you get surprise attack. :rolleyes::mad:

    I have gone above and beyond in trying to get them to acknowledge and fix this bug. This included 2 videos, marked-up stills, etc. Each time, they come back to me with "nothing is wrong x is obscuring your field of view". Unless I am crazy, it is so obvious that there is an issue here. I am attaching 2 videos and photos, what do you guys think??

    NOTE: I notice that it happens more consistently when I am the last player left on my team. The ships from the other team disappear regularly, often times reappearing right next to me.

    This is not normal a ship was coming towards ne and when it got in range it disappeared only to re appear close to me and since my targeting system aquired a new target on the other side i was getting blasted as my turrent was turing around
