New player, help!

Hi! I'm new to this awesome game. But I have a question, I have already reached above 500 infamy so why wasn't I promoted from challenger to warrior yet?

 

first i think is more easy for you check frequently asked questions section
now you need play enforcer or defender or fixer game and guilds need more of this ship because guild quest need that. i think you want play like a real man and don't want a fixer because that is
woman work (i play lol and dota and people always telling me this xD)
you need wait for the final of countdown timer the season lasts 2 weeks once finished repositions depending on your infamy
so you have 1300 infamy but you still in challenger wait for the final of the season and you promote to master, now play the game and farm

 

So let's say I drop to 490 and than the season ends, will I get promoted based on my season high?

 

You'll be promoted at the end of the season. It counts the higher infamy level you reached within the 2 weeks of the season.

In the old times yeah you need still 500 infamy to promote in case you lost 20 infamy you don't promote but thats old story
