big torpedo issue

Hello,

I'm perhaps wrong, but i've seen this problem a few time.

I'm at close range, hitting with big torpedo, the torpedo hit the opponent, and no damage, just a strange freeze on the other boat like a flash.
i try to get at least 2-3 boat length between me and the opponent so that the torpedo go in water before hit (sorry for hoorible english), in fact avoid direct shot/hit.
but still do no damage.
will try to make a video.

 

All torps have a minimum arming range.

 

Get them near a wall & hit that, they will receive damage at close range.
