Does the RNG Get... "Stuck"?!

So, A couple weeks ago I got my first rare standard Mortar. I didn't scrap it since it's a 1 slot weapon. Then I got another and thought "Ooh! Maybe I can use this on my Enforcer."
Then i got another from combining parts, Which I guess I scrapped by mistake(?!?). I posted and sent CS an email cause I really wanted that possible t3 mortar!
Then the next day... I got another! That's 4 all from combining parts, star crates, and a free crate. Yesterday I combined parts again... Wanna guess? Rare Freaking Standard Mortar!

I've also been scrapping uncommon grenades at a frightening rate, along with common tesla bolts. If the RNG can get stuck why can't is get stuck on rare blast cannons? At least give me the rare sniper I've been needing for months?

Why? Do you want some snipers :3 I've scrapped enough to had made 2 more tier 4 rares but I was good with 2 rares and an epic

 

They made sure you get all them standard mortars since you sent that email.

Guess I should've told them I lost my legendary Big Bertha.

 

I had that same exact problem. I scrapped a lvl 20 Rare Cannon and I got 5 rare parts from it.
I scrapped it because I wouldn't use it anymore and I didn't have a duplicate.

Found out I had enough parts to combine and I combined them.

I got a rare Cannon....scrapped that one too.

 

Same thing happened with me and epic grenades. I scrap them then they come right back to me. Have scrapped 4 so far! (One gave me a legendary red item piece :3)

 

This game is trolling us!

 

For real. It did give me an epic big torpedo today though! Just need 3 more for it to be worth upgrading

 

Also got a Red legendary piece from the Cannon scrap. What a coincidence!

 

How do you know it's an illusion when you don't have the comprehensive data and you don't have access to the methodology? Argumentum ad lapidem.

 

Elementary my dear conspiratoric Watson,

• The devs have clearly told YOU in your earlier RNG conspiracy thread that there is no foul play with the item RNG.
• We know that small samples of random can (and will) cluster.
• We know that we humans suck at randomness, we intuitively feel that said samples should not cluster.

I get that your still hung up on the belief that the devs are fudging your RNG. If you can show to 3 or 4 sigma that the item RNG is loaded, then I bet you can get Miika to eat his hat. But until you've presented this massive comprehensive amount of data of yours with a proper statistical analysis - the simplest explanation is (excuse my saying) obviously (*cough*) the most likely.

 

maybe it´s a illusion...but is a very strange illusion, look I open a lot! of 3900 box, and are 19 weapons...wow I got 3 legendary long range mortar, which I use but for sure I will be more happy with other any weapon...I still open and boom 3 leg triple torpedo... from 19 weapon 3 times two of them...as well I see many player his first weapon is a mine?? casuality, seems yes. So I believe you devs but is very strange. Before I got, we can say 8 of 10 piezes was red (I mean the last one the leg) from the box, now are like 5 of 10 with lucky...so really I feel some was changed. Because I open a lot of box and I knew what was coming before and now. So for me I can see some difference. But I will accept is my illusion.

 

The simplest explanation is always "follow the money".

But hey, if Miika wants to clearly and unequivocally state on Rovio's behalf that every time a player in this game receives an item by opening a box or combining pieces, the player has an equal 1/35 chance of receiving any of the 35 items in the game... then I'll just take my screenshot and shut up about it.

 

So say it then. Since you technically didn't make it 100% clear you were replying to my post.

 

Having just found an epic Standard Mortar I sure don't hope RNG is stuck!
