New Weapon Ideas

    And also each item is compatible with only one ship. For instance, as the fixer is targeted a lot, the DIVE IN will be useful for it. It could just dive into the water and you know... do its thing. But the DIVE IN cannot be used on any other ship even if u have multiple of it. It can be used only on the fixer. It a pretty cool idea overall

    Yea, I figured out that screwing part after my post :D

    Anyway, what comes to devs' part, I do remember reading about repair bolt before it came to game. Like way before so they might pick some ideas from our comments too and make it fit to their designs. Just saying :)

    I would like to see few new fixer items,any. Kinda liked that mine defusing thing that will definitely push players to use it strategically and not just throw it around anywhere.
    Maybe a underwater shield for torpedoes blue item of course so shooters and defenders can use it.

    The problem with submersibles would be you would have to have torpedoes to destroy them. The only way I could see that work is if they had to surface for a short time and when they did they couldn't fire their weapons. You could put their dive capabilities as a blue item and have it come with a duration. But there would have to be a lot of thought to balancing put into it. Far more than a forum post.

    a taunt with 1 blue slot (or why not 2, so it would be use in majority by defender), if speeder take this , ok but they will lost a blue slot...not sure a lots of them will do that

    Torpedo launcher.

    Fires like a mortar, but arcs under water, has the aoe and damage of a swift torp but the projectile speed of a mortar. Can avoid obstacles like grass, waves and icebergs but not cliffs, greatest advantage is that you can't see it coming. 2 slots.

    Terrible idea.
    Imagine a fixer shoot it, and then an enemy shoot a mortar onto the same place as the "heal-launcher".

    How is that going to affect anything I wonder? People always get healed while getting a hit.

    Asked for it before, I'll ask for it again: I want a Phalanx CIWS to shoot down those pesky mortars.

    Doesn't lock onto enemies - but it can shoot down incoming mortars, torpedos, and even mines.

    You could build it as either a guaranteed interception with a high cooldown, or a faster shot with a lower chance of interception, where slower projectiles (Big Berta, Big Torp) have a better chance of being picked off than small/fast ones (Missiles/Swift Torp) and stationary Mines have to be manually aimed and shot at.

    Here's a weapon idea:

    Spiked Harpoon: Or, as I would like to call it, Porcupine's Quill. It's a single-target weapon that fires in an arc not unlike the Explosive Cannon, with similar stats such as cost, cooldown, and damage. However, in exchange for not being AoE, it's gimmick is that it sticks permanently into the ship it hits, causing half of it's dealt damage to be unrecoverable. Get hit with one of these and your maximum HP is decreased for the rest of the match, indicated by a gray bar at the end of your normal health bar. This stacks with each harpoon you get hit by. Preferably, the harpoon would also visually stick out of you for the rest of the game, so multiple harpoons would eventually cause you to look like... a porcupine. :cool:

    It would finally be a source of damage that can't instantly be healed back.

    An underwater shield sounds cool, but that would really ruin torpedoes.
    I love torpedoes, and one of the things that make torps special is that they are the only weapon that can go through shields.

    I don't have any weapon ideas at the moment, but I do have an idea about the Tesla bolt. I think it would be cool if when you are stunned, instead of the stun only getting ridden by enemy fire, your teammates can also hit you with a projectile in order to get rid of the stun. But it has to be your teammate's projectiles, not your own. I honestly think that would encourage better teamwork skills. Tell me what you think
