Nerf Sniper? Why not Blast Cannon?

With Bhurt at 25 epic & all 4 perks dedicated to %boost (3 rare and 1 epic) Blast Cannon peaks at 1348. To reach 1500 you are looking at 4 epic perks, lvl 30 Bhurt and lvl 30 talents from other captains.
Sniper is much more dominant and influencial on gameplay, and for a good reason; being able to hit someone that cant shoot back (and sometimes not even see you) is powerful. Blast Cannon at least involves getting within the dangerzone. Game is already a sniper fest, lets not enchance that by nerfing alternatives!

When u are at 2500-top of ladder, u will know why sniper needs to be nerfed

 

Good is not the same as overpowered

 

Sc are a lot scarier than blast cannon especially when it crits from far away like ez 1k + dmg.

 

The only cannon that I have problems with is the explosive one, which is why I'm building one for my speeder.

 

I say sniper is fine, blast cannon is fine too. Sniper does less dmg for sure, but it has wayyyy faster projectile speed than blast and has a long range.
Blast cannon is dificult to land shots with if someone is constantly moving, or there are waves, etc.

Honeslty cant think of anything that needs a nerf or buff right now, it all seems pretty equal. Still pissed about the pulse nerf though at least add another blue slot point for fixer mk5 so we can equip big shield....

 

Yea, I'd love to use a big shield. I die in 2 hits when paired against the nightmare players, especially if they're speeders and snipe me from behind the team. I'm such a dead weight in these kind of matches lol

 

Me too, i even make sure to stay back, but then my team gets destroyed. Doesnt help my shield is only tier 2 rare, with no luck of another one in the future :/

 

I'm stuck with tier 2 rare shield as well! On the other hand, I have 5 big shield...

 

Exactly! lol ive got big shields too spare as well, dabbled in defender for a bit because of it. 3k hp really doesnt get u far....know a fixer with 6k hp and still got out in 3 shots lol (sniper crits at legendary are terrifying)

 

The Blast Cannon is pretty good where it is in my opinion.

 

Don't nerf anything.. Everything is fine just play the game and enjoy it.

 

High lvl sniper is not the same as low lvl sniper

 

Tell me about it! If I stick my head out at the wrong time I loose 50% of my HP from an unseen unfriend

Sorry, I wasnt even checking on this thread... I didnt It would get so much attention lol.
Anyway, I keep see dual blast cannon enfo or speeder can really wreck a team... If it is a flanker, It comes from behind to kill fixers and team wont saves me... They can take out any ship instead of defender by themselves... Its frusturating.
