    Working on a larger project - But for now here are the stats from the Top 50 of the Nightmare league.

    - This is league standings, so not the current top 50.
    - Brief version without alot of comments, they will come in a few days on a larger scale view on the current meta.

    22 Speeders (44%), best placed at #1.
    15 Shooters (30%), best at #3.
    6 Defenders (12%), best at #2.
    5 Enforcers (10%), best at #9.
    2 Fixers (4%), best at #34.

    Unsurprised by the rising number of explosive cannons there, looks like they may even overtake snipers soon.

    Funny how so many people cry about mortars, and yet almost nobody uses them at high level.

    Sniper... Of course we use sniper, you can hit others without them being able to hit you because of the long range. Even if the power got halved we would still use sniper.

    I'm a little bit surprised about explosive canon. I can remember a topic where people discussed how blast canon as 1 slot item has got more power than explosive canon, a 2 slot item. They said that blast canon has got more power, but yet way more people use explosive canon.

    I'm not surprised by explosive cannon either. If anything I'm surprised that it never scored high before in your snapshot posts. At 3k+ infamy I see high epic and legendary explosive cannons all the time (I get put in matches with nightmare players regularly). Every fight, pretty much. I've seen double kills made with them more than once.

    Fwiw im using legendary explosive cannon because thats what i got given... id prefer blast tbh..

    Interesting to note firebomb usage has increased at higher tiers. If they don't use mortars, why the firebomb which has slower projectile speed?

    My guess is it's for enabling the "increased damage to burning targets" perks. Bhurt has 4 levels where you can choose +10% to targets on fire, and +40% damage is pretty significant.

    Also the best placed fixer is at #34 a significant drop compared to last snapshot which had fixer at #2

    These are only top 50 players. Problem with mortars is at lower infamy from 1200-2000 and most people are losing interest because of it and some are forcibly changing ships from fixer to shooter or speeder.

    But seriously, give me a 2RR option at Mk5, maybe a 3BBB too. Give us a way to be more flexible and varied, because it's pretty stale in terms of Green and Blue.

    #BuffFixers (ps ps ps, would totally be down to see 3 points for the 2 blue slots so big shield would be an option)

    Im surprised not to see even more firebombs, they are everywhere. No surprise on the explosive cannon though, its crit is massive

    Yes that's true, however the overall ship speed increases due to talent training and upgraded turbo with perks at higher levels, thus making it harder to land mortars. That's why I was surprised cause with fast ships it would be difficult to land firebomb. If you can't land fire bomb then you won't get the damage as well

    Mk5 is not the problem, that is the spot where Fixers have by far the largest infamy potential, being the only class capeable of reaching nightmare at mk5 without heavy spending.
    For some reason Fixers take a dive in the very lategame, I'm guessing damage scales better than healing & perhaps its harder for a very high infamy fixer to carry a team of 4 lowbies to victory.
