This makes me mad

    Why is it that if i Die before my shot kills another player my kill is voided out!!!! Seriously wtf

    This is a lag effect, on the server you died before shooting. You only fired it on your screen.

    I feel your pain. I get many missions that I need to get a kill with my torpedo but it just won't send on my death that would get my kill.

    That's just the way of the game.

    Bingo. I've seen two ships kill each other with cannon fire, and that's a very small window of overlap. Projectiles still travel and credit kills afterwards.
