Need little advice

Hello all. Kinda came across Battle Bay by looking for a fun multiplayer. Have to say I'm more impressed with it than I thought I would be. I'm not sure how long game has been out. And really don't want to put a lot of time into it. Specially if it has been out for over 2 years or more. What I found to be. Games that start hitting 3 years seem to start losing players because of bored of game etc, then Devs start not doing updates and putting there all into making it better. So guess what I'm asking is it worth Lvl up and joining a guild etc or is it probably best to just Lvl up when can and play it for what it is. I came from game War Robots,Battle Supremacy and all the storm raiders games plus many more that like o said have all reached peak and now basically just online and nothing more. Besides WR.
Also I'm at Mk2 and seems to me it is better to play and not focus no more than possible in upgrading commons,uncommons, and try to as fast as possible get rare and up weapons. Then start really investing? Any thoughts and I'm upgrading team as fast as time will allow. I need more sugar hope it will help payout as they get Lvl up

 

If you're f2p I'd focus on uncommons and get rares when you can. The game's only three or four months old on global release. It's relatively new and we're all hoping for an update soon.

 

Game is still growing by at least 5-10,000 players a week. Still very fresh.

Also you are VERY wrong, do NOT disregard UNcommons and start going only for rare and epics. I made this mistake and hit a wall very quickly.
Focus mainly on uncommons, and if you are lucky on rares. do NOT bother with epics early on. Even rares are hard to level up. A T3 uncommon is better than a T1 rare and equal to a T2 rare.
Commons are pretty useless though yes.

Best advice is try to log in every single day, at least just to do your quests. You will get a LOT of uncommons and rares by simply logging in daily, and also by completing the weekly quests.

 

You do realize commons are the gray items and uncommons are the green ones right?

 

Ship Building Tips : Upgraded Uncommon is still usable as a F2P player [most important use what ever u can upgrade ;NOT base off rarity]
Guild : Do not really matter
Pearl use : Keep all pearl for [ Epic Box : 100% a Piece of Legendary ] or to expand inventory
Major purpose : To get Legendary as fast as u can, but 1st try to max any epic item [stay in ace league for ever]

Thanks you all. And glad it is so new. Wasn't for sure. Seen I thought someone said they was mad because after 2 years updates was doing something blah blah blah. I must have read it wrong. But never less thank you all for tips. I'll work on all you all pointed out. Specially about uncommons. Just didn't want to waste a bunch of time only to find out they are worthless in near future. As far as guild. I will stay solo tell I feel I can be really helpful to a team. I always been part of a clan in every game. And sure I'll will be in this one when time comes. Again thank you
