I just noticed something neat

This is probably well known but I just noticed this. Whenever you shoot an enemy; the damage you do is orange. Whenever your ally shoots an enemy; the damage is red.

Every shoot a railgun at your opponent (really any weapon) while an ally did as well and wonder whether or not you actually hit the enemy? You look for the numbers and see only one pop up (meaning only one of you hit the enemy)? Now you know if it was you, or your bud. Orange or red.

 

So let me get this straight... You just noticed this a little while ago?

What's also cool is that if you're spectating a match after you sink, the damage numbers will be orange if it is your shipwreck damaging unfriends!

And carronade and multy projectile weapons you see them as the single bullet damage and the enemy sees it as the whole damage not per projectile like you but the damage lije if it was a single bullet weapon, and the fire damage, you see it stacked but the attacker sees it each time it produces a dot

 

And did you know, if the number is bigger and has an exclamation point at the end, it's a Critical Hit?
