Battle bay is a scam

Oh no . Happens to everyone Even us veterans . Just don't quit keep em infamies pumpin .

 

uh, of course it's a "scam". Yes they created this game to make money, and they hold your progress, just like every other game with IAP.
I personally think IAP was the worst thing to happen to app but its here and if you aren't enjoying the game then move on to another. I really like Snoopy Pop when Battle Bay frustrates me.

 

There's this thing where the game forces everyone to be at a 50% win rate and they make sure of this with a mix of p2w and idiot teammates.

There's also this thing about confirmation bias where we only remember what we want to so we usually forget those wins and only remember the losses. You had to reach 900 elo in order to drop from 900 to 300 right?

 

I always thought this way before reaching 1400 and then again dropping back to 800 I tried everything from different weapons,ships everything finally found new combo that suits me now I'm 1600+. Don't get frustrated enjoy it. Winning or losing is part of game. Cheers

 

It happens to everyone. Some experience it more extreme than others. When that happens, ask yourself this question:
- If the game is really a scam to keep you low and losing, why did other players manage to get to 2k, 3k, 4k, 5k infamy? -
Sometimes it's easier to blame it on the game or your teammates than figuring out the real problem. Try to stop and take a deep breath. Slow down and stop spamming that X and Battle buttons. Do other stuff, play other games, watch some movies, listen to some music or whatever to take the bad mood off. You can also watch the spotlighted videos which are handpicked by us (in-game Inbox) . They are usually very helpful and entertaining to watch.
All in all, try to relax and have fun. It's just a game. Life's too short to be angry all the time

 

Matchmaking tries to keep your win rate strictly in the 50% range, so unless you upgrade your items/ship you won't progress even with stellar mechanics and skills.

Not to say skills aren't important but they won't win you a 5v1 game. They help you achieve the max infamy in your reach, for the ship you have, but you will hit a wall after climbing where you just can't progress anymore just because matchmaking is trying to hold you back until you upgrade (*cough*pay*cough*).

 

That doesn't explain the big drop from 900 to 500 OP was complaining about. Also upgrading is done with sugar, which you can easily get from battles and multiple care package every day.
Also, you should get that throat checked.

Like I said, at the end of the day, it's just a game. Losing is part of the fun.

I'm not trying to be a party pooper who tells kids Santa is just their overweight uncle.
900 to 500 is basically him losing and then tilting and losing more. Also even though sugar and gold are easily accumulated through regular play, that isn't the way the game let's you evolve items, is it?
Yes losing is part of the fun and personally I enjoy the game and it's progression systems more than counting wins or losses. But when, even smurfs of higher infamy players don't have over 51% winrates the matchmaking/progression system are the most obvious factors.

Also being part of a capitalist society isn't something you should be pricked about when it's brought up. People making and playing games live in the real world.

Well hello!

 

There are literally thousands of people playing this game and I'm going to say few/none of them have broken their inanimate objects over a losing streak. You broke a window because you have issues, not because of this game.

 

rovio was in top moba game with angrybird, and they never think about change...crisis they made a new gam.....................,
the 3Dmotor of battlebay is wonderful, boat and system is good. economic system is a pure shit.

 

This is not how matchmaking works... this has been covered about a million times on these forums.
