How long to get certain weapon/item

I've been playing for a month now and have gladly spent a little over $200 on this bad ass game. I am also doing good climbing the Infamy ladder as i have reached Ace already
Now my concern and question is about the RnG Gods for getting certain gear. I need more Rare (Tier 2 lvl 20) and Epic (Tier 1 lvl 10) Blast Cannons to evolve the ones i have.
I'm an Enforcer and use only Blast Cannons and Flare Gun. Ill have an MK5 tomorrow so yes im only MK4 atm but fortunate enough to have the Rare Flare Gun tier3 and blast cannons.
So how long does it generally take for one to get more of a set item ?
I can't imagine myself gaining much more Infamy without finally lucking out on more Rare and Epic Blast Cannon drops to evolve more.
Some Solid feedback would be greatly appreciated , thank you.

 

There's no telling how long, it could be the next box you open, could be another month of farming. The only way to make it faster is to purchase pearls and buy epic containers, I think.
That's the problem with this game, you can't always have what you want. I actually wanted to main an enforcer when I started, but the game never give me yellow items, so I say suck it I'm gonna rock a shooter instead because I have a lot of red items laying around.
It's one of those "when life gives you lemons" scenario. You take whatever rng gives you and make the best out of it.

I have beem playing every day since global launch, about 8k battles and have found over 100 epics.
From those epics, i have 2 epic flare guns, thats it. Im a mk6 stuck with t2 epic FG because of the ridicuouls amount of paywalls and rng required to get what you want.

Dont get me wrong, im really enjoying the game but im not being forced by the devs to play somehting i dont want, so im just waiting and waiting and waiting for that next epic FG. It is conceviable i will never get it before i quit.

 

Ikr, they should at least give one way to get it without relying on rng and ridiculous amount of monies. They could allow us to buy it with 1500 stars for example, albeit it's really hard, you get sense of progress after every battle gaining stars and feeling you're closer to your goal.
But alas, one can only hope.

 

Yep, good idea. Event at 1500 and limited to once per month you would feel like you are progressing.

Could take a while, could be short. I have a T3 rare sniper and now another one to get it to T4, yet am still stuck with T1 explosive cannon lol.

 

Took me 1 year to get a duplicate epic blast cannon

 

I just got my epic explosive cannon duplicate few hours ago and I've been grinning like an idiot since then. Meanwhile my sniper cannon is still t3 uncommon, haven't got even a single rare.

 

I've never received one epic sniper cannon or big torpedo in 8 months of playing. I purchased both of the ones I have. My rare ones are both maxed out at level 4 but just can't get epic. I'm now maxed out on all my items and have nothing to upgrade until I randomly get an item I need. I enjoy the game because I can upgrade my items to get stronger. Now that I have nothing to upgrade I'm starting to lose interest. Hope they address this issue!

The entire concept in my opinion needs changing The random stuff stinks
you should be able to have the weapons you want if you can afford them (talking ig currency)
It's how games always have been and always should be.

I personally belive the likelyhood/odds of getting a powercell should be greatly reduced and more difficult to achieve. And then your able to buy duplicate weapons for double the cost of that last one
Example
1 rare flair gun 175000 gold
2nd rare flair gun 350000 gold
3rd rare flair gun 700000 gold

And Ik people will just buy gold
But that's what people are doing with loot boxes so who cares at least we know what we are working towards and we can definitely know we will eventually get there not just hope a random weapon will come.

That way you can get what weapons you want
You will still ofc have to work hard to get power cells but I wouldn't feel as cheated if that happend.

 

I'm still stuck with 3 tier 2 rare weapons on my mk5. I'm around 2200 and it's not even funny how inferior my gear is compared to tier 3 epics and tier 4 rares people are rocking at that level. It's pretty much land big torp or bust for me because my potato 250 damage snipers don't make a dent against 4k and 7k hp ships. I open roughly 4-5 rare weapons per week and have opened 10 big torps so far but still no luck finding 3rd sniper. My strategy now is just to spend all pearls on slots and save every weapon I find. Then start leveling whatever I have 5 copies of.

 

The problem with this is that it will hugely increase the amount of seal clubbers due to the ability of buying the same item over and over. With this idea, gold will become even more precious, and seal clubbing is a much cheaper way get to gold (and sugar), than paying the game for pearls, and translating those pearls into gold (and sugar).
Since seal clubbing will become a bigger problem, more players will start quitting (due to the matchmaking/game "not being fair"), and as I already said, less pearls will be bought, and then this game will go down like the Titanic.
But if seal clubbing were to be somehow stopped from happening, this idea would be pretty nice.
But the prices you put up are waaaaaay too cheap.
